FastLane Signs & Graphics is not only one of the South’s fastest growing Sign and Decal buisness, but is widely considered one of the best companies for Race Car Graphics. Jason Trammell is the proud owner of the Knoxville, Tennessee business. 

Bob Trammell, Jason's Uncle, started the buisness in 1987, back when everything was painted by hand. Bob was inspired by watching painter, John Estes letter Jack Trammell's car one night and decided to give it a go. Estes encouraged Bob to do it, so "Uncle Bob" picked up John's brush and did his first car. He continued painting cars as a hobby until 1988.

 

In 1989, Bob Trammell and Jack Trammell partnered in purchasing their first cutting machine, therefore officially starting FastLane Signs & Graphics family business. " Uncle Bob " designed and installed the graphics on the cars of many of East Tennessee’s top drivers of that time.

Sadly, in 1993, "Uncle Bob" was tragically killed by a drunk driver. His wife, Nancy Trammell gave Jack the business. Soon afterwards, Jack hired Scott French, and together, they ran the business until 1995.

In 1994, Jason graduated from high school and started working at the sign shop on a part time basis. When French left in 1995, Jack gave the business to Jason to earn some money while attending the University of Tennessee. After college, Jason considering quitting the business. However, thanks to David “Fatboy” Bryant, Tommy Kerr, and Stinger Race Cars, business picked up and took off from there.

 After graduating college, Jason was lettering the majority of the area's top drivers including Jack Trammell, Scott Sexton, Ronnie Johnson, Tommy Kerr, Billy Ogle Jr., Vic Hill, Randy Weaver, Rick Rogers, Steve Smith, Mark Martin, Skip Arp, and Mark Douglas.

Fast Lane Signs has since grown into one of the most recognized Racecar Graphic companies in the Southeast. Drivers such as Jimmy Owens, Dale McDowell, Brad Neat, John Blankenship, Vic Hill, Randy Weaver, Tommy Kerr, and Rick Rogers have helped spread the name on a national scale.
